Deeply perfumed blackberries, blueberries, and red cherries unfold in the glass, mingling with nuances of rose petals, licorice, and exotic spices. Medium to full-bodied, it has a deeply layered and appealing mouthfeel, with a satin smooth attack that transitions into a vibrant, polished mid-palate, culminating in a long, resonant finish. Only 65% new oak barrels were used and malolactic fermentation was completed in tanks rather than barrels, resulting in a very pure and seamless finish.
